I’m delighted to have a chance to tell you a little about my book A New Heart. This Christmas Romantic Suspense and Mystery story is the fifth book in the ‘Georgia Peaches’ series, but you don’t have to read the other books in the series to enjoy it.

Jade Burton is a mystery writer living in the small town of Buford, Georgia. She does most of her writing from the carriage house where she lives behind a Victorian house museum she inherited. Hearing a number of disturbing crashing noises and a cry for help, she walks in on a suspect fleeing the murder of her friend, Zena. Her friend was the manager for the museum established to honor her grandparents. Celebrated heroes, her paternal grandfather was a WWII pilot, and her grandmother, a Red Cross nurse and singer.

Jade meets FBI Agent Ethan Hughes of Atlanta when he is brought in by the Buford police to investigate the crime scene believed to be linked to a serial killer he’s been tracking. However, Jade’s life is now in danger since she’s the only person to catch a glimpse of the suspect. Ethan sets out on a mission to not only stop the murderer, but protect Jade.

She is attracted to Ethan, but beneath his strong and tough exterior, he has some baggage to wade through, including a wife who passed away leaving him with two children, and a heart that has given up on God. Jade, on the other hand, has some fears to face and can’t remember a thing about what the killer’s facial features looked like except for his uniform.

I love how the ‘Georgia Peaches’ series is developing. I’ve always wanted to write a mystery or suspense story, and this series fills my craving for this. Plus, I get to write alongside some seriously stellar writers. My editor’s reaction: she said the book was captivating and riveting!

Let’s continue the scavenger hunt! Go to the book on Amazon at How many Jewish refugees did Jade’s grandparents rescue from Nazi Germany during WWII?

When you have the answer, fill out this form and head on to the next blog!

Thank you so much for visiting! The next author on the tour is Lyn Cote. You can find her post at this link–:

Remember that the round-robin will end on December 13th at 11:59 PM EST! Thank you so much for stopping by.

  1. I have found answers to questions, but I cannot find where to write the answers. There is a space that says “Your answer” then ” your first name.”

  2. I’m confused right off the bat, I have read this post and the Amazon preview too. I do not see anything about how many people her grandparents rescued… What am I missing?

    1. I figured it out the preview (I learned something new todayi) is different from the little bit I was reading under the book offering on the site. Got it!!
